Hi Bill, hope you join us mature arthrithic back to riding "thumper folks". I found the air pad just the ticket to the sore behind and back, gas stops take place about 110 miles so you can stretch and groan then. Maintenance is easy as Frank noted. Windshield is nice and if the 96 is the yellow one, I'd vote for it. Do join us, Max
